Just like many of your EMRs, the VaxCare Portal will require a password update every 90 days. At the 90-day mark, you'll simply be prompted upon log-in to enter a new password, which must adhere to our security guidelines.
I know, I know, it's tempting to use an easy-to-remember password like "shots" or "password," but we want to make sure we're helping you keep your Portal extra safe and secure. Therefore, a VaxCare password must meet the following criteria:
- May not contain your full name or your account name.
- Must be at least 8 characters.
- Must have at least 3 of the following:
English uppercase characters
English lowercase characters
Standard non-alphanumeric characters.
If, for any reason, you wish to update your password before the end of the 90-day window, you can do so by selecting "Trouble Signing In" from the log-in screen (or see I Forgot My Password).
