After years of working closely with our partners, we've identified a few Best Practice Recommendations. We've found the following habits to be some of the best predictors of profitability, efficiency, and increased vaccination rates in the long run! 

DAILY

Follow the Risk Free Process. Check In, Check Out, and Vaccinate each patient within each indication. We want every dose risk free!

Confirm your inventory count daily via the VaxHub. This is a required practice for all VaxCare partners starting in Summer 2018, because we've found it to be one of the very best (and easiest!) ways to keep inventory and AVR on track.

MONTHLY

Reconcile your Compensation Detail Report on the 15th of each month, being sure to bill out any doses that were submitted as Partner Bill and to send VaxCare any updated demographic information needed to bill for your At Risk patients.

Though we send Partner Health reports from time to time, it is important that you also use the Compensation Detail Report as a "pulse check" for staff adherence to VaxCare's Best Practices. If you notice that the number of Partner Billed or At Risk patients is increasing steadily, for example, it may be time to discuss with your registration staff why this is happening and how you can work together to eliminate unnecessary Partner Bill and At Risk doses. If you notice that vaccines are slowly trickling out the door with each inventory count, it may be time to brainstorm with nursing staff how to reduce vaccine waste, borrowing, and loss.
